Touch and Go, and Go Again

WE’ve crossed the four year mark for TALKBACK now into our fifth, and many things have happened to us this past year.  We’ve said a fond goodbye to our original teen staff and welcomed new members.  Last year’s co-host Bernard Rodgers has taken over as lead host and made room for new co-host Destiney Williams.  We’ve gained a new website & social media manager, Amber Stokes, who started as production assistant behind the scenes.  We’ll soon have a new managing editor & staff writer, Keia Starkes.  We continue to offer internships to youths in local high schools and colleges, who gain experience with us in studio production, broadcast journalism, and interviewing skills.  We constantly seek more suburban youth involvement, guest writers, and even out-of-area “foreign” correspondents.  So if you have something to say and want to be involved in something meaningful in your community, contact us.  We’re here for you.cropped-tbt-logo_bcast_final_darkbackgrounds1.jpg

We are a show and website dedicated to youth: the issues we face and the goals youth have accomplished. The show is all about their obstacles; how commonplace they are, and how other teens have overcome them. The counterpart site/Twitter/Facebook is all about uplifting youth. We offer a blog that will focus on one topic every week and offer advice through it. We also hope to soon incorporate youth work on it. We would love to showcase your work: your writings, art, and anything else you're proud of! Our twitter is all about motivating you; so that you end everyday the best possible you!
