We are a show and website dedicated to youth: the issues we face and the goals youth have accomplished. The show is all about their obstacles; how commonplace they are, and how other teens have overcome them. The counterpart site/Twitter/Facebook is all about uplifting youth. We offer a blog that will focus on one topic every week and offer advice through it. We also hope to soon incorporate youth work on it. We would love to showcase your work: your writings, art, and anything else you're proud of! Our twitter is all about motivating you; so that you end everyday the best possible you!

what makes a good teacher? i think that a teacher who cares about their students and wants to be there and teach what they know is the kind of teacher that i want. that’s always how cool teachers are and the teachers that i respect most, earn their respect from those they teach. great job! i think you could add a few more important points on teachers though.

Teachers. So teachers. Teachers are a very ify subject seeing that one of mine will be reading this I can’t go off on some whole rant. I might be yelled at and I don’t want that.
A teacher is a person who has to do there job. Get their work done keep their classes together. Which so props to them.
So most teachers are very biased in what they do and will never budge from their opinion no matter what you say. Like my one teacher, he is very incompetent in his work. He just gives you notes and tells you to look up any questions you have. He won’t answer them and will blatantly tell you that he doesn’t know the answer. Which is not a good form of teaching. Then my one other teacher will go the extra mile to get you to get your work done. Like bug you until you want to bash your head in a wall.

I think that teachers should try and get to know their students and try and find a way to help them learn better. Teachers can make things fun if they try to know the class and/or stay organized. Teachers that aren’t organized get the kids distracted which creates bad behavior. Teachers should also try and help the students learn instead of putting up power points and expecting you to learn these subject or topics on your own. A teacher should help a student and then a student will help the teacher.

We felt that this topic was not explored as well as it could be and should be, so we will certainly revisit it when we can. The participants choose their own topic, but surely there will be another group that wants to talk about it. If you are a teen, we welcome your comments on the topic. Have you had a noteworthy teacher you want to talk about, good or bad? Any discussion posts here will be incorporated into a future episode dealing with this topic or even another topic, such as school or mentors, which might touch on this topic. Thanks for watching.
